FIELD: mechanical engineering; boom load-lifting cranes safeguards. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method of measuring boom radius comes to measuring angle of boom tilting and length of boom and subsequent determination of boom radius by converting results of measurements according to preset order of conversion. Deformation of boom is taken into account at indicated determination of radius by measuring angles of tilting of at least two parts or sections of boom, and at conversion of results of measurements, values of horizontal projections of separate parts or sections of boom are summed up. Summing up is carried out with account of distance from axis of boom fastening to axis of rotation of turnable part or turning over rib of crane. Results are converted using the formula: where R is radius; Ls is length of support section of boom; Ll is length of extensible section(s) of boom; Lr is distance from axis of boom rotation to axis of rotation of turnable part or crane turning over rib; alpha is angle of tilting of support section of boom relative to gravitational vertical; beta is angle of tilting of extensible section(s) of boom relative to gravitational vertical. Angle of tilting of extensible section(s) of boom is found by formula: where A, B are constant coefficients determined at designing of crane or experimentally. ^ EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of radius at improved reliability. ^ 18 cl, 3 dwg |
