<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate the quality of an printing ink such as a W/O (water in oil) emulsion ink and determine whether the ink can be used for printing. <P>SOLUTION: An ink evaluating apparatus uses an AC impedance measuring circuit 4, measures an AC impedance including a resistance component and senses the resistance component or a capacitance component when oils used for an oil phase and having resistivity of 10<SP>8</SP>-10<SP>9</SP>Ωcm and a water phase and having resistivity of 10<SP>2</SP>-10<SP>4</SP>Ωcm are combined into the printing W/O emulsion ink having resistivity of 10<SP>5</SP>-10<SP>7</SP>Ωcm. The quality whether a state of the W/O emulsion ink (a dispersed state of water phase) is suitable for printing, is appropriately evaluated and determined when it is actually used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
