<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and comfortably make a human body fall into sleep and to promote the good sleep of a person by keeping comfortable environment also after falling into sleep. <P>SOLUTION: The vigilance of the human body is generated from biological information acquired from the human body. According to information of the vigilance calculated like this, at least a sound output means for outputting sound is controlled for stopping the output of the sound or attenuating the volume of the sound for efficiently and comfortably making the human body fall into sleep. In addition, according to carrying out the control for stopping the output of the sound or attenuating the volume of the sound, control for starting the output of a control sound and increasing the level of the control sound in a silence means for outputting the control sound for cancelling at least external sound is carried out.
