DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING INFORMATION RELATED TO PRINT CAPABILITY BETWEEN PRINTER AND DIGITAL CAMERA

PURPOSE: A device and a method for transferring information related to print capability between a printer and a digital camera are provided to transfer default setting without performing a complex process, or setting an individual and special format. CONSTITUTION: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) controller(12d) communicates with a printer(11). A direct print controller(12b) sets selection of print conditions according to capability information of the printer inputted from the USB controller. A UI(User Interface) display controller(12e) displays the selection. The capability information includes the first information related to capability of the printer and the second information ordering the default setting. The setting part sets one of the first information as the default setting based on the second information.
