METHOD FOR MEASURING THE SIZE OF A WORKPIECE BY USING A TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION TO MEASURE THE COMPENSATED SIZE OF THE WORKPIECE AT A STANDARD TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: A size measurer of a workpiece by using a temperature compensation is provided to exactly measure the size of the workpiece through the compensation according to a temperature. CONSTITUTION: A frame(10) is fixed in a CNC(Computer Numerical Control) to vertically stand in an outer circumference of a workpiece(200). Many guide rods(20) is moved in a straight line through a cylinder(70) by inserting in the frame in parallel. A first stopper(30a) and a second stopper(30b) limit the backward and the frontward movement ranges of each guide rod by connecting between each guide rod. A head(40) is recessed inward corresponding to the outer circumference pf the workpiece to contact to the outer circumference of the workpiece according to the advance of the guide rods by fixing in front of the first stopper. Measuring devices(50,60) measure the size and the temperature of the workpiece by installing in the head. Thereby, The continuous processing degree is improved by compensating the temperature near the measured size at 20degreeC.
