PURPOSE: A device for controlling a frame channel in a transmission system is provided to comprise a channel data processing circuit module for sequentially processing upper/lower data signals between a channel frame unit and voice channel units, and to process data by using upper/lower connection lines one by one only, thereby optimizing a board design embedded in a transmission system. CONSTITUTION: A channel frame unit(1) comprises as follows. A time slot assigner(4) assigns time slots to frame data signals. A 16-DS1E frame unit(5) synthesizes data information with signal information, and outputs the synthesized information. Data information processors(6A-6P) sequentially transmit the inputted data information and the control signal information through one lower connection line to voice channel units(3A-3P). Each of the voice channel units(3A-3P) includes a voice data information processor(7) for separately transmitting data and control signals and sequentially transmitting the data information and the control signal information to the channel frame unit(2) through one of upper connection lines(22A-22P).
