PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for manufacturing a outer cover are provided to mold a outer cover in a structure of one color-one layer, two colors-one layer, or two colors-two layers. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises: a first step of providing a mold with a cavity and coating/removing a release agent on/from the cavity; a second step of quantizing/discharging an undiluted polyurethane solution and injecting the same into the cavity of the mold; a third step of charging an undiluted solution which is overinjected; a fourth step of sucking/removing bubbles existing in the undiluted polyurethane solution; a fifth step of making even the top surface of the undiluted polyurethane solution; a sixth step of mounting a mounting target on the top surface of the cavity of the mold and placing a sponge pad on the mounting target; a seventh step of compacting and hardening the undiluted polyurethane solution of the mold cavity; and an eighth step of releasing a hardened outer cover from the cavity of the mold.
