<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of preventing the separation of terminals from an insulation main body, securing stable electric connection between a flexible printed board and conductive terminals of the electric connector. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector comprises the insulation main body, an actuator mounted in free rotation on the insulation main body, and a plurality of conductive terminals housed in the insulation main body. The insulation main body has a housing part, and a plurality of terminal grooves are formed at a front face of the housing part, and a plurality of semi-circular convex lumps are arranged so as to protrude from the adjacent terminal groove of the insulation main body. The conductive terminal has a first terminal arm and a second terminal arm, and a head part is formed at one end of the first terminal arm, and an axis of the head part is same with that of the semi-circular convex lump at the adjacent terminal groove. The actuator rotates around a center of rotation formed by the head part and the semi-circular convex lump, and a height from the outside arc contour of the semi-circular convex lump to the circuit board is higher than the height from the outside arc contour of the head part to the circuit board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
