PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques with which additional information is surely decoded from an image with the additional information added. SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus is provided with an addition means for adding first additional information including an error-correcting code having a first error-correcting capability to an input image so as to be difficult to identify for human eyes, and for adding second additional information including an error-correcting code having a second error-correcting capability different from the first error-correcting capability so as to be difficult to identify for human eyes, and an output means for outputting the image with the predetermined additional information added by the addition means to an image forming part.
