PURPOSE: A method for attaching a file of a multimedia message is provided to previously recognize positions where media files are stored, if two media files are to be attached, and to input the recognized positions in text to attach more than two files at a time, thereby improving user convenience. CONSTITUTION: When a file attach item is selected, a system outputs media lists. If more than two attachment files exist after moving to a desired media item, the system displays an origination message window for immediately attaching the files. The system inputs an index for linking file positions and a file storage address in text. The system displays titles of the files to retrieve a file attachment error. If any error is generated, the system transmits a multimedia message attached with more than two files.
