<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a fill-in-the-blank question from an optional web page. <P>SOLUTION: A fill-in-the-blank question generating device comprises a display means, a means of reading and storing a document displayed on a screen of the display means, a means of dividing a stored character string into words, a means of generating answer field candidates having answer field candidate ID tags by making the answer field candidate ID tags correspond to the respective decomposed words to generate answer field candidate group character string information consisting of the plurality of answer field candidate groups, a means of recognizing font information on the character strings of the answer field candidates and generating answer field display information for generating fill-in-the-blank answer fields of size corresponding to the character strings corresponding to respective answer field candidates, and a means of displaying the fill-in-the blank fields of size corresponding to the character strings of the answer-field candidates based upon the answer field display information instead of character strings displayed on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
