GAS SENSOR UNIT, CELLULAR PHONE WITH BUILT-IN GAS SENSOR UNIT, AND HEADPHONE TYPE MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit highly accurately and capable of achieving compactness, a cellular phone with a built-in gas sensor unit, and a headphone type measuring instrument.

SOLUTION: The gas sensor unit is provided with a space part for taking in gases; a light emitting part 1 for emitting mid infrared light 31; a light receiving part 2 formed on the same substrate 4 as the light emitting part 1 for receiving the mid infrared light 31 of which the optical quantity is changed by absorption in matter in the gases in the space part; a signal processing part 3 for detecting the amount of components of the matter in the gases on the basis of the optical quantity received by the light receiving part 2; and a sterilizing part 13 for sterilizing the space part by emitting ultraviolet light. The gas sensor unit may be provided with a surrounding part for surrounding the space part and a reducing part or an increasing part for reducing or increasing the width of the mid infrared light 31 emitted from the light emitting part 1. The light emitting part 1 may be provided with a plurality of light emitting elements for emitting the mid infrared light 31 having different wavelengths, and the light receiving part 2 may be constituted of a plurality of light receiving elements for receiving the mid infrared light 31 correspondingly to the wavelengths of the plurality of the light receiving elements.
