<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a reinforcing plate for connecting the connector of a flexible flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: This reinforcing plate 30A is mounted to the connecting port 11 of a connector 10 together with the connecting end side of a flexible flat cable (FFC) 20. One or more notches 41 are provided in the width direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the FFC 20 on at least one surface side of the reinforcing plate 30A. Because of this notch 41, an excellent function to prevent the FFC from being bent can be obtained, and at the same time, the cost of the reinforcing plate itself can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
