The device has a tie rod (2) connected to a power train (5). A support (4) is directly connected to the tie-rod and to a chassis of a vehicle. The support is directly connected to a damper cup (18) of the vehicle. The tie-rod is extended along a moving direction of the vehicle and has an end (14) fixed to walls (6,8) of a support zone (10) by a screw through an elastomer pad. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a power train to a chassis of a vehicle.
