摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for auxiliary mirror by which the manufacture yield is easily increased. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a auxiliary mirror for use in a light source lamp 110 is disclosed, wherein the light source lamp 110 includes: a light emission tube 112; an elliptic surface reflector 114 which reflects radiation light from the light emission tube 112 and emits the light to the region side to be illuminated; and the auxiliary mirror 113 having a reflective recess surface 113b which reflects the radiation light from the light emission tube 112 to the elliptic surface reflector 114 and having a through-hole 113a through which the auxiliary mirror 113 is attached to the light emission tube 112. The manufacturing method for the auxiliary mirror for use in the light source lamp 110 comprises a tubular member preparing step of preparing a tubular member 2 having an inner diameter dimension corresponding to the inner diameter dimension of the through-hole 113a, a grinding step of performing the grinding from the end surface side of one side of the tubular member 2 and forming a recess surface 3b, a polishing step of performing the polishing of the recess surface 3b formed by the grinding step and a reflective layer forming step of forming a reflective layer 5 in the recess surface 4b polished by the polishing step and forming the reflective recess surface 113b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
