<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor inspection device and a motor inspection method capable of measuring an accurate drag torque in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The motor inspection device 100 is provided with an inverter 2, a motor controlling ECU 3, an AC power measuring apparatus 7, a DC power measuring apparatus 8, a DC power source 9, a motor output performance inspection controller 10, and a motor-power-cable connecting electromagnetic switch 11. The AC section 7 and the DC section 8 are for measuring power supplied to a motor 1 being an object of inspection. The inspection controller 10 measures the motor current when the motor 1 is in a no-load idling state, and estimates a drag torque on the basis of the motor current.
