<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge compost pretreatment method which can reduce the loading rate of a hydration assistant for a coagulant etc., facilitates dehydration operation and fermentation operation by stabilizing the concentration of sludge fed for dehydration, and can produce a high-quality compost. <P>SOLUTION: In the sludge compost pretreatment method, sludge drawn from sewage treatment equipment is supplied to a pretreatment tank, and oxygen is intermittently supplied to cause an aerobic condition and an anaerobic condition repeatedly in the pretreatment tank to modify the sludge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
