<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a photographic image at a proper exposure level under optimum photometric accuracy without performing image processing by eliminating the variance of the photometric accuracy of an individual camera caused in an electronic camera system. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera is equipped with a photometry sensor 130 detecting the luminance of field, an imaging part 106 picking up the image of the field based on the luminance information of the field detected by the photometry sensor 130 and outputting image information, a detection part 101 detecting at least the kind and the state of a lens mounted in the electronic camera, a correction value calculation part 101 calculating a photometric level correction value for correcting the luminance information of the field obtained from the photometry sensor based on the luminance value of the picked-up image calculated based on the image information outputted from the imaging part and the ideal luminance value of the image outputted from the imaging part, and a storage part 101a in which the result of detection by the detection part and the photometric level correction value calculated by the correction value calculation part are related to each other and stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
