<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquarium 10 capable of extending a contact time of water with oxidizing bacteria adsorbed on a filter medium 50 without lengthening (making a bigger size) a filtering vessel F and thereby not requiring so frequently changing water of the aquarium 10. <P>SOLUTION: This aquarium 10 having the filtering vessel F and a rearing vessel B equipped at least with an organism-filtering vessel, wherein the filtering vessel F is constituted so as to pump back water sent to the filtering vessel F from the rearing vessel F, through the organism-filtering vessel 36 again to the rearing vessel 10 is constituted by installing a bubble-forming part 48 of an aeration device such as an airstone, etc., in the vicinity of the downstream of the filtering vessel 36 for generating a returning water flow from the vicinity of the down stream of the organism-filtering vessel 36 to the vicinity of upstream of the organism-filtering vessel 36 by the continuous floating up of many bubbles from the bubble-forming part 48 and inducing the part of water passing through the organism-filtering vessel 36 again to the organism-filtering vessel by the water flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
