<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper measurement about a bioinstrument for measuring blood pressure and a pulse wave velocity. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse wave is detected with a cuff 1R wound on the right arm and a cuff 2R wound on the right ankle. At the same time, the blood pressure is measured with a cuff 1L wound on the left arm. Otherwise, when detecting both of the right and left pulse waves, the pulse wave is first detected with the cuff 1R wound on the right arm and the cuff 2R wound on the right ankle, and next detected with a cuff 1L wound on the left arm and a cuff 2L wound on the left ankle in order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
