<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle search supporting device, in which a theft of a vehicle is notified when it occurs, so that searching the thieved vehicle is started immediately, and in which low cost can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle ECU 11 determines that the vehicle 1 is the stolen vehicle when an IC card 6 is not correctly inserted into an IC card input/output device 12, for example. Next, the on-vehicle ECU 11 sends data of a vehicle ID, a driver ID, etc., stored in a prescribed memory means as a theft signal through a car body side antenna 14 and an air pressure sensor unit 3 around. The in-vehicle ECU 11 on the vehicle around receives the data of the theft signal from the car body side antenna 14 or the air pressure sensor unit 3, and stores the received data of the vehicle ID, the driver ID, etc., in a prescribed memory means.
