PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving the outside appearance by mounting a set under a floor, dispensing with a mounting space on an indoor wall face to effectively utilize the wall face, effectively used not only for a non-living room but also for a living room, and provided with a ventilating function. SOLUTION: This air conditioner S installed under the floor Y of a dwelling house, and comprising an indoor-side unit 3 and an outdoor-side unit 4 in one casing 1, comprises an indoor-side ventilation flue 16, an outdoor-side ventilation flue 25, a switching damper mounted over the indoor-side ventilation flue and the outdoor-side ventilation flue to form a ventilation flue 32 by separating them from each other or communicating them with each other, and a microcomputer controller 7 comprising a ventilating operation mode for controlling the switching damper, driving an outdoor air blower 24, and blowing out the air sucked from the non-living room R to a bottom house through the ventilation flue.
