<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a password transmitter capable of suppressing an increasing current when software is downloaded by suppressing a supply current increased when a flash ROM as a memory device is erased smaller than the erasing current of the flash ROM. <P>SOLUTION: The password transmitter has the memory device which is erased and written with commands from a CPU means and electric power is supplied the transmitter through a communication line.
