<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for a thick steel plate, which prevents a spark from occurring due to an induced current formed between the steel plate and a transport roll by a magnetic leakage flux. <P>SOLUTION: This heat treatment apparatus comprises a transport line for moving the thick steel plate and an induction heating device for heat-treating the thick steel plate on the transport line by high-frequency induction heating. The transport rolls installed at an entrance side and an appearance side of the induction heating device in the transport line have a conductive brush on the surface with such a length as to keep an electrical contact with the thick steel plate moving on the transport roll, or have an electrolytic solution sprayed thereon so as to keep an electrical contact with the thick steel plate moving on the transport roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
