<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance/color-difference signal generating device, etc., capable of attaining power-saving and miniaturization in a process for compressing a color signal obtained from a solid-state image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This luminance/color-difference signal generating device, etc., can attain power-saving and miniaturization by a means for generating a color signal whose color attribute is different from the color attribute of a color filter relative to an optional pixel by an interpolation operation to the pixel from a color signal outputted from the solid-state image sensor to which a color filter having a prescribed color array is attached on a light receiving face composed of a plurality of pixels, a means for generating at least one signal between a luminance signal and one color-difference signal or more relative to the pixel from a plurality of the color signals related to the optional pixel, and a means for setting a pixel for generating a luminance signal and a color-difference signal as a pixel under consideration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
