<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varistor capable of allowing an outer sheath material to have incombustibility, preventing the scattering of the outer sheath material at the time of the destruction of an electronic component, and preventing an outer sheath from being sharpened at the time of forming the outer sheath. <P>SOLUTION: As the outer sheath material of an electronic component formed by immersing an electronic component element in liquid resin, then removing the same therefrom, hardening the resin, coating the electronic component element, and thereby forming an outer sheath; silicone resin or a silicone elastomer is used to which an aluminum hydroxide whose average particle diameter ranges from 30μm or more to 100μm or less, and whose amount ranges from 45% by weight or more to 60% by weight or less is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
