<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive or negative lithographic printing plate which improves the storage stability of a plate material even in an IR exposure system, attains prevention of blocking in storage over time, and suppresses lowering of dot reproducibility in storage over time after exposure, and to provide a method for making the lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: A lithographic printing plate material is provided which is obtained by disposing on a support a photosensitive layer containing a compound capable of generating an acid upon irradiation with an actinic ray, a compound having a bond part which can be decomposed by an acid, an infrared absorbent and a matting agent having a particle diameter equal to or larger than the dry thickness of the photosensitive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
