<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector plug and an optical connector which easily surely intercept irradiation light from an optical fiber to improve safety and have manufacturing costs and introductory costs reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A shielding plate 7 which is held so as to be freely inclined to an inner cylinder 22 through a base end part and is arranged in a shielding position for shielding a front end surface of a ferrule 40 in the case of an expanded state and is arranged in a non-shielding position for allowing a plug frame 30 to be stored in the inner cylinder 22 in the case of an expanded open state, an operation plate 80 which is tiltably held on the inside of the shielding plate 70 through the base end and is abutted or engaged with the shielding plate 70 on the front end side and is tilted together with the shielding plate 70, and a biasing and holding means 90 which positions and biases the shielding plate 70 so as to arrange the shielding plate 70 in the shielding position in the case of the expanded state are provided on the side of the front end in the inner cylinder 22 of the plug frame 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
