<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data by selecting mutually different encoding rates and modulation systems among respective transmission/reception antenna streams for a closed loop type MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) transmission system. <P>SOLUTION: On a transmission side, the number of encoded bit series that the GCD of a puncture pattern period of each encoding rate in a plurality of sets of encoding rates and modulation systems determined by specified algorithm is determined and the number of series is regarded as a minimum unit to perform time-space interleaving for allocating encoded bits to a plurality of streams. On a reception side, time-space de-interleaving of received series is performed and then decoding is performed like a bit series having a common encoding rate by an decoding system having the largest encoding rate among the plurality of streams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
