The multiple format memory card reader is for use with a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver (2). It enables the user's position to be shown on a map on a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) or notebook computer. The system uses a Bluetooth (RTM) module for wireless connection with other electronic modules. The GPS receiver has a base (3) with a rear base portion (4) and a lid (5) at the front. There is a further lid (6) at the back. The assembly includes a battery (7), a circuit board (9) and a hinged (80) housing (8) for an antenna.
