The direction changing system consists of a housing with an inlet (1) and an outlet (2) at 90 degrees to one another between two zones of a pallet-wrapping conveyor and a mechanism to rotate the pallet. The system is mounted on a rectangular base with curved guides (3, 4) at its outer and inner corners, and has a traction mechanism with driven plastic pulleys (5) that oblige the pallets to turn through 90 degrees as they pass between them.
