DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECORDING AND REPRODUCING AV DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize safe and high-speed move accommodation of an AV data between equipment connected through a network from a recording and reproducing device using a tape medium to an AV data recording and reproducing device using a hard disk. SOLUTION: Control equipment (controller) controls the recording and reproducing device using a tape medium which is equipment to be controlled and connected through the network, and copies once the AV data recorded on the tape medium as "copy no more" keeping the data disabled at the destination of the move, and then the controller performs safe and high-speed move accommodation of the AV data by gradually making the AV data enabled while gradually deleting the AV data at the transfer place.
