PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust, with high accuracy, the center wavelength of a waveguide type light interference circuit. SOLUTION: In the waveguide type light interference circuit, if pressure is varied with temperature kept constant (e.g., 1,100°C), the center wavelength changes in linear proportion to the pressure. Accordingly, with the center wavelength measured for the waveguide type light interference circuit after the manufacture, a pressure is imparted to the circuit in a value corresponding to a difference between the measured center wavelength and a desired value (preset target wavelength), thereby shifting the center wavelength to the target wavelength with superior controllability.
