<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a compact, inexpensive volume-reducing/packaging apparatus for waste which reduces volume by compressing deforming waste of paper or plastics and the like, and packages the waste. <P>SOLUTION: The volume-reducing/packaging apparatus comprises a screw press device for compressing and deforming waste to reduce their volume, a packaging means for packaging the volume reduced waste by a specified amount, and a control means for controlling them. The packaging means can fill a storing bag fixed at a pushing-out port with the waste through utilization of a pressing force applied from the pushing-out port, oscillates the storing bag automatically, corrects a bias or the like of the waste in the storing bag and stops the pushing-out operation when the bag is filled with the waste. In addition, the storing bag is provided with a waste receiving port at the upper side surface of the bag and the waste pushed out continuously falls down by their own weight, they are separated from each other and stored in the bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
