<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method and a treatment apparatus of sulfate pitch capable of minimizing affect on a cement firing facility, and effectively using heat quantity and sulfur component of sulfate pitch, when treating sulfate pitch generated in a petroleum refining process in the cement firing facility. <P>SOLUTION: By this treating method of sulfate pitch, sulfate pitch generated in the petroleum refining process is burnt in the cement firing facility. Sulfate pitch is neutralized with a calcium-based neutralizer in a neutralizing tank 22, the obtained neutralized matter is granulated in an granulation tank 23, the granulated neutralized matter is charged into a kiln head part 4a of a rotary kiln 4 of 800°C or higher, to burn the neutralized matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
