The chair has a secondary arc (6) with a seat (10) and disposed inside a primary arc (5). Two ends (EX3, EX4) of the secondary arc are connected to the two ends (EX1, EX2) of the primary arc by an upper shaft (2a) and a lower shaft (2b). Both the arcs (5, 6) rotate around two axes of rotation (X, Y) respectively. A braking unit stops the rotational movement of the arcs suddenly. An independent claim is also included for a utilization of a medical examination chair.
