PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast receiver with a still picture capture function capable of informing a user about the storage of a captured image without disturbing viewing of a television program by a user. SOLUTION: The television broadcast receiver 1 is provided with a shutter tone output apparatus 16 for outputting a shutter tone. The shutter tone output apparatus 16 stores the shutter tone for informing the user about the storage of the captured image to a flash memory 15 and sound-outputs the shutter tone when the captured image is stored. Since the shutter tone output apparatus 16 sound-outputs the shutter tone in the case of the capture processing, the user can easily grasp the success/failure or the like of the capture processing. Further, the shutter tone output apparatus 16 can inform the user about various information items by means of only a sound output by the shutter tone output apparatus 16 that sound-outputs a shutter tone in response to additional information in the capture processing.
