PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the vehicle yaw motion from increasing when the vehicle is running on a cant and stabilize the behavior of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A rear wheel steering device for the vehicle is equipped with a rear wheel steering controller 9 to execute the opposite phase control whereby the steering angle of the rear wheels 6 is turned to the opposite phase side to the steering angle of the front wheels 2 when the vehicle speed is equal to or below the lower threshold, wherein the controller 9 senses the degree of inclination as the size of the cant gradient from the sensing value of a transverse G-sensor 11 and the sensing value of a steering angle sensor 5 and corrects the rear angle steering angle in the opposite phase control toward the same phase side with a greater degree of inclination.
