<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device for sucking the uppermost sheet of stacked sheets for separation and capable of surely separating by weakening blowing air after separating the uppermost sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeding device is provided with a loading plate 11 to be loaded with the stacked sheets P and for holding height of the top-positioned sheet at a certain height, a paper feeding roller 12 for feeding the uppermost sheet one by one, suction openings 31a and 32a provided over the uppermost sheet of the stacked sheets, blow-out openings 15a and 16a for blowing air from sides over the stacked sheets, and fans 31 and 32.
