PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch which realizes suppression of loss of light, using a simple structure. SOLUTION: GRIN lenses 14, 15 and 16 constituting a finite optical system are fitted on the emission end face 11a of an input optical fiber 11 and on output optical fibers 12 and 13. A movable mirror 17 having a reflecting face 17a is arranged between the input optical fiber 11 and the output optical fibers 12 and 13. A light condensed by the GRIN lens 14 of the input optical fiber 11 is reflected on the reflection face 17a of the movable mirror 17 and made incident on the output optical fiber 12 (refer to (a) of Figure). The light from the input optical fiber 11 passes through the movable mirror 17 and is made incident on the output optical fiber 13 (refer to (b) in Figure).
