<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection means capable of easily and surely connecting the leader line of a fluorescent tube and the core line of a wire without using solder. <P>SOLUTION: This connection means for the fluorescent tube for a backlight module is a connection means which has a holder holding at a prescribed position and connects the core line of the wire transmitting electricity to the fluorescent tube for the backlight module where the leader line is pulled out from both end parts along the axial direction, and provided with a conductive base sheet. One end part of the base sheet is formed as a first grip part inserted from one opening of a through hole penetrating the inside of the holder and fixing the core line of the wire by molding press.
