<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the power consumption in a controllable load, and a controllable load control system which optimize the demand and supply balance maintenance of a power system. <P>SOLUTION: This controllable load control system is composed of a controllable load 4 which acquires information such as its target temperature, its set temperature, etc., a detection means 1 which measures the frequency deviation of a power system, and a control means 2 which estimates the specified energy e<SB>est</SB>to be charged by a specified time t<SB>limit</SB>, based on the above acquired information, without transferring the information at real time via a communication means between a system operator and the controllable load 4, and computes future average power consumption p<SB>tar</SB>=(e<SB>est</SB>-∫p dt)/(t<SB>limit</SB>-t), and controls the power consumption in the above controllable load 4 from the above future average power consumption and the above frequency deviation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
