The device has an extractor extracting an initial semantic representation from messages or events occuring at the level of software agent. An interpreter applies a semantic interpretation model, which is identified from a list of predefined models, with the representation to interpret the messages or events. An execution and/or generation unit executes an operation according to the events whose semantic has been interpreted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for semantic interpretation of events occuring at the level of software agent (B) a multiagent system having software agents.
