<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silylalkoxymethyl halide in a short production time in a high yield in a small solid waste amount without requiring the employment of hydrogen chloride gas difficult to treat and a dehydrating agent without by-producing water. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing (d) the silylalkoxymethyl halide represented by the general formula (2) : R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>Si-R<SP>4</SP>-O-CH<SB>2</SB>X (R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl or a halogen atom; R<SP>4</SP>is a 1 to 10C divalent hydrocarbon group; X is a halogen atom) is characterized by reacting (a) a silylalcohol compound represented by the general formula (1) : R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>Si-R<SP>4</SP>-OH with (b) formaldehyde or its polymer and (c) a halosilane compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
