PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telop reproducer capable of reproducing a still telop from only a received image. SOLUTION: A telop reproducer includes: a telop detecting means 1 for detecting the still telop from the image; a telop area segmenting means 2 for segmenting the telop picture of an area, corresponding to the still telop, from the image; a telop storage means 3 for storing the telop picture; a telop information storage means 4 for storing telop information, including a coordinate in the image of the telop picture, in association with the telop picture; a telop selecting means 9 for selecting the telop picture to be synthesized, where the coordinate of the area corresponding to the deleted still telop coincides with the coordinate included in the telop information, among the telop pictures associated with the telop information; and a telop synthesizing means 10 for synthesizing the telop picture to be synthesized with the image.
