<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operator determining method which requires no additional unit such as an infrared sensor and determines an operator by means of a simple and low-cost system. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel part 12 detects variations in electrostatic capacity at a plurality of positions to an input operation in which the surface of a part of a touch panel 2 is contacted, and executes input detection accompanying positional information. In this case, an operator determining part 132 determines an operation direction of two opposite directions of the touch panel part 12 from variations in the electrostatic capacity which are detected in the plurality of positions in a noncontact state that the surface of the part of the panel is not contacted yet in the input operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
