<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grooving device for a honeycomb structure molding die with which highly accurate working is kept even when performing continuous operation for long time. <P>SOLUTION: The grooving device has: a holding part for holding a workpiece; a nozzle 33 for forming a water column 72 by jetting high-pressure water against the groove forming position of the workpiece; a laser head 12 with which a laser beam 71 emitted against a groove forming position is derived by passing through the inside of the water column 72; a window member 4 which is provided between the laser head 12 and the nozzle 33, composed of a light transmissive material and with which the laser beam 71 derived from the laser head 12 is condensed by transmitted, condensed and entered into the water column 72; a high-pressure water supplying part for supplying the high-pressure water to the nozzle 33 and a driving part for moving a laser irradiation position along the groove forming position by relatively moving the holding part and the nozzle 33.
