PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of preventing a suction panel from being opened even when infant child touches it with a simple constitution even when the suction panel has a projecting structure. SOLUTION: This floor type or wall embedded-type air conditioner comprises main body casings 11, 12, and the suction panel 13 mounted on a front face side of the main body casings 11, 12 and rotated back and forth on its upper end side to be opened and closed.
