The container e.g. gas bottle (1), has a mobile handle (2) that permits manipulation and transportation of the container. The handle is rotated along angle of 45 degree between a rest position, in which the handle is retracted, and a maximal rotation position, in which the handle is completely folded. A locking system locks the handle in the rest position for preventing rotation of the handle. The handle has a part that serves as gripping zones (H, V) for a user.
