<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control unit which can verify, with a high reliability, the validity of a communication path. <P>SOLUTION: The communication control unit 11 is included in an autonomous system that is one of autonomous systems. The communication control unit communicates with an autonomous system connected to its autonomous system based on path-related information. The path-related information is of information indicating a communication path to an address of other autonomous system than the autonomous system to which the communication control unit is assigned, and this information includes identification information for identifying autonomous systems existing on the communication path. Furthermore, the communication control unit acquires information related to a pair certificate generated based on information for specifying a set of two adjacent autonomous systems on the communication path indicated by the path-related information.
